Terms of sale
Last updated
These terms apply to all sales of goods from Cinco Studio to consumers. Together with your order and our order confirmation, they form the whole agreement between us.
They are based on the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act, the Right of Withdrawal Act, the E-commerce Act and the Marketing Control Act. Where anything here would give you weaker rights than the law does, the law applies.
1. The parties
- Seller
- Cinco Studio
- E-post
- hello@cincostudio.no
- Address
- Tetenveien 11, 1960 Løken, Norway
The buyer is the person named as the buyer on the order.
You must be 18 to buy on your own. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian has to place the order for you.
2. Prices
All prices are shown in Norwegian kroner (NOK).
Cinco Studio is not registered for Norwegian VAT. Prices therefore contain no VAT, and no VAT is added at checkout.
The total price, including shipping, is shown before you confirm your order. Nothing is added after that.
We reserve the right to correct typographical errors. If a price is obviously wrong and you realised, or ought to have realised, that it was, we are not bound by it. We will contact you before shipping, and you are free to keep the order at the correct price or cancel it.
3. Placing an order
The agreement binds both of us once your order has been sent from the shop and payment has gone through.
You will get an order confirmation by email shortly afterwards. Read it carefully and tell us straight away if anything is wrong.
We may decline an order if the item turns out to be sold out, the price was obviously wrong, or the payment cannot be confirmed. We will tell you, and any amount charged is refunded in full.
4. Payment
Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details are entered with Stripe and never pass through our own systems.
The payment methods available are shown at checkout. Visa and Mastercard are always available.
The amount is reserved or charged when the order is placed.
If you choose a third party method such as instalments or invoice, that provider's own terms also apply, between you and them.
5. Delivery and shipping
We currently ship to addresses in Norway only.
- Carrier
- Orders are shipped with Posten.
- Shipping cost
- Shown at checkout before you confirm your order.
- Delivery time
- Normally 5 to 10 working days from when the order is registered, unless stated otherwise at purchase. If nothing else is agreed, we will in any case ship within 30 days of the order being placed.
- Risk of loss
- Passes to you once you, or someone collecting on your behalf, have taken possession of the parcel.
If delivery is delayed, we will tell you. If the delay is substantial, you may cancel the purchase and get the full amount back.
6. Right of withdrawal
You have 14 days to change your mind under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act, without giving any reason.
- Deadline
- 14 days from the day you, or someone on your behalf, received the goods.
- How to tell us
- Email us at hello@cincostudio.no before the deadline. A plain email is enough. If you would rather use the standard form, the Norwegian Consumer Authority publishes one at forbrukertilsynet.no.
- Returning the goods
- Send the item back without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after you told us. The return address is Tetenveien 11, 1960 Løken, Norway. Tell us before you send it, so we know the parcel is on its way.
- Condition of the goods
- You may examine the item the way you would in a shop. If you use it beyond that and its value drops, we may deduct that loss from your refund. Keeping the tags and original packaging helps.
- Return cost
- You pay the return shipping when you withdraw from the purchase.
- Refund
- We refund what you paid for the goods, plus the shipping you paid when you ordered, within 14 days of receiving your notice. We may hold the refund until the item is back with us, or until you have shown that it has been sent. The money goes back by the same method you paid with.
If you withdraw from only part of an order, we refund the items you send back. The shipping you paid is not refunded in that case.
Sealed goods that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons, such as underwear and swimwear, are excluded from the right of withdrawal once the seal is broken.
7. Faulty goods
If an item is faulty for a reason that is not down to you or to ordinary wear, you can make a complaint.
- Deadline
- At least 2 years from when you received the item, and 5 years where the item is meant to last significantly longer than two years. You must tell us within a reasonable time of noticing, or of when you should have noticed, the fault. Telling us within two months is always in time.
- How to do it
- Email hello@cincostudio.no with your order number, a description of the fault and, if you can, photos.
- What you can ask for
- Repair, replacement, a price reduction, cancellation or compensation under the Consumer Purchases Act. We will tell you what we are offering, and why.
- Return cost
- We cover the return shipping on a justified complaint.
If a fault appears shortly after delivery, it is on us to show that the item was sound when you received it.
8. Uncollected parcels
Your parcel waits at the pickup point for the period Posten states, normally 14 days. If it is not collected, it is returned to us.
Leaving a parcel uncollected is not the same as withdrawing from the purchase. To withdraw, you have to tell us within 14 days, as described in section 6.
For a parcel that comes back to us without the right of withdrawal having been used, we may claim the costs we actually incurred for shipping, return shipping and handling. That is normally between 150 and 250 kroner. We never claim more than we actually paid, and we will document the amount if you ask. The rest of the purchase price is refunded.
9. Privacy
The details you give us are used to fulfil and follow up your order. What we collect, who we share it with and how long we keep it is set out in our privacy policy.
10. Complaints and disputes
Talk to us first, at hello@cincostudio.no. Almost everything is settled there.
If we cannot agree, you can take the case to the Norwegian Consumer Council, which mediates between the parties. If mediation does not resolve it, the case can be decided by the Norwegian Consumer Disputes Commission.
If you live in an EEA country other than Norway, ECC Norway can help.
Norwegian law governs this agreement.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published on the day you ordered. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
